The NDSU-North Dakota Forest Service welcomes Dominic Anderson as the new Nursery Technician at Towner State Nursery. Anderson began his duties on July 6, 2021. The Nursery Technician is responsible for all routine operations associated with greenhouse seedling production at the state’s only evergreen nursery. He will be assisting with packaging of nursery stock, preparing tree orders, assisting with irrigation of field and greenhouse stock, and assisting customers. Dominic comes to the agency with a degree from Dakota College at Bottineau and over a decade of experience in horticulture in North Dakota.

Dominic said, “I’m very happy to have been given this opportunity to work for the State Forest Service. After graduating Dakota College of Bottineau, I had high hopes of finding a job in the conservation field. Now I hope to settle into a lifelong career with the Towner State Nursery.”
