Sam Funk is an expert in farm and ranch management, agricultural policy and evaluation of on-farm technology adoption.

She will serve as the southwest region’s lead livestock specialist for state-wide Extension livestock programs.

Hammer will oversee various academic programs and initiatives, working to further strengthen the college’s academic offerings and student outcomes.

She is an assistant professor in the area of genetic improvement of livestock.

Johnson will lead the development of an NDSU Extension program focusing on farm safety education.

He will focus on integrating innovative technology and site-specific management practices with North Dakota producers.

His appointment began Oct. 24 after serving six months as interim assistant director.

As an Extension livestock specialist, she will provide resources and educational programming on beef production.

Klaudt will recruit and prepare students to evaluate livestock through workshops, camps and clinics.

David Kramar will be based at NDSU’s Carrington Research Extension Center.
