Julie Kuehl has joined North Dakota State University as a Web technology specialist in the Agriculture Communication Department.

She will provide support for training in and development of content management systems, social media, productivity software and other current and future online technologies.

The Moorhead, Minn., native previously was executive director of the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute’s Transportation Learning Network at NDSU. The network is a distance learning partnership of five universities and three state departments of transportation focused on training for transportation professionals.

She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural economics from NDSU in 1985 and 1987, respectively.
