N.D. 4-H Foundation Hires Development Director

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation’s new development director starts work May 3.

Mylie Lavold will become the development director for the North Dakota 4-H Foundation.

Lavold, who has been a development executive for the Boys Scouts of America’s Grand Canyon Council in Phoenix, Ariz., will begin her work with the 4-H Foundation on May 3.

In her Boy Scout role, she was involved with a variety of fundraising, including writing grants; organizing special events; and overseeing donor acquisition, cultivation and retention.

Lavold grew up in the Red River Valley and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with emphasis in public relations. She also has experience in retail management and sales, which included many aspects of community relations and marketing.
