Jim Sailer Named 4-H Hall of Fame Inductee

Jim Sailer is the 2008 North Dakota 4-H Hall of Fame inductee.

Jim Sailer of Almont has been named the 2008 inductee to the North Dakota 4-H Hall of Fame.

Sailer has been a 4-H club leader for more than 40 years. He has a passion for helping youth and believes 4-H is the best way to connect kids to positive experiences. He has served as the County 4-H Council president and volunteered many hours at county and area events.

He is a member of the board of directors of the North Dakota 4-H Foundation and serves on the Clover Classic Golf Tournament Committee. He also is on the board for the Western 4-H Camp and is past president of the Western 4-H Camp Association.

Sailer will be inducted during the Hall of Fame banquet on June 18 in Fargo. The banquet is held in conjunction with the Extension Youth Conference. For more information or tickets, contact the North Dakota 4-H Foundation at (701) 231-8569.
