Career Interests: Working with underserved populations in community settings

School Activities: Since transferring to UND, I have been a member of the Student Association for Nutrition and Dietetics. I was honored to serve as SAND Treasurer for the 2015-2016 school year and Vice President for the 2016-2017 school year. As a SAND member, I have had the opportunity to participate in many events, including our National Nutrition Month Flash Fruit Mob and Food Drive. I also coordinated two Cooking with the Girl Scout events this past school year. During the summers of 2015 and 2016 I grew a garden on SAND’s behalf and donated produce to St. Joseph’s Food Pantry. Along with being a member of the North Dakota Nutrition Council, I am also a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Interests: In my free-time I value spending time with my family on our family farm and spending time with friends. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes and gardening in the summer.
