NDSU Extension agent in Stutsman County receives national award

Christina Masich, NDSU Extension agent in Stutsman County, received national recognition for her work.

Christina Masich, North Dakota State University Extension agent in Stutsman County, was honored recently at the National Extension Association for Family and Consumer Sciences 89th annual session in Providence, Rhode Island. She received the organization’s Distinguished Service Award for the state of North Dakota.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes Extension family and consumer sciences educators for dynamic leadership, creative implementation of Extension programs, and personal and professional growth. It is the highest award presented by the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.

“Christina’s commitment to meeting the needs of individuals, families and communities is exemplary,” says Dena Kemmet, NDSU Extension’s central district director.
