Winter Show 4-H Hippology Contest Winners Named
Mountrail County has the top team in the junior and senior divisions.
Mountrail County’s junior and senior teams took first place in the 4-H hippology contest at the North Dakota Winter Show in Valley City on March 9.
Senior team members were Haley Goodal, Veronica Enander, Bobbi Hennessy and Cheyenne Leidle. Junior team members were Savannah Meyer, Kassie Meyer, Kelsey Colbenson and Maddie Meyer.
Kidder County’s junior and senior teams placed second, and Grand Forks County’s junior and senior teams placed third.
A team from Kindred finished first in the open team division. Team members were Haley Johnson, Justine Flom, Becca Anderson and Callie Enander.
The top individual placings in the senior division were:
- First – Haley Goodal
- Second – Laura Brose, Grand Forks County
- Third – Megan Gross, Kidder County
- Fourth – Veronica Enander
- Fifth – Taylor Storhoff, Barnes County
