The Mountrail County team of Veronica Enander, Haley Goodal, Bobbi Hennessy, Cheyane Leidle and Wyatt Woodbury placed first in the senior division of the North Dakota 4-H horse quiz bowl.

A team from Benson and Sargent counties placed second. Team members are Katie Rice, Kelly Fragodt, Hanna Brummond, Emma Howey and Marisa Smith. Barnes County’s team finished third. Team members are Bailey Brown, Michaella Langer, Brooke McDonald and Taylor Storhoff.

In the junior division, Morton County’s team placed first. Team members are Ashley Goldade, Brooke Heidrich, Morgan Henke and Brenna Hoger.

The Barnes County team of Rathyn Krueger, Breanna McDonald, Hailey Schaefer-Jewett and Jessie Undem took second place. The Benson County team of Will Rice, Kevin Johnson, Ethin Johnson, Becca Johnson and Jacob Arnold finished third.

The contest was held March 30-31 in Fargo.

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation sponsored the awards.
