Horse Expo Bus Tour Set for April 29–May 1

The Horse Expo is an educational experience featuring experts from across the nation.

If you would like to visit “horse heaven” or the closest thing to it, then plan on being part of the 2011 Horse Expo Bus tour to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul on April 29–May 1.

The Horse Expo is an educational experience featuring experts from across the nation. Pat Parelli, founder of the Parelli program; Richard Shrake, originator of the resistance-free riding and training methods; and Tommy Garland, horseman, trainer and clinician, will be the guest clinicians. Also featured are 700 commercial booths.

The tour is sponsored by the Sargent and LaMoure County Extension offices in cooperation with the Sargent County Farmers Union.

The tour is open to all horse enthusiasts. Youth under the age of 18 must be under the direct supervision of an adult.

The tour will depart from the LaMoure County Courthouse at 7:15 a.m. and AW Diesel in Gwinner at 8 a.m. on April 29. The tour will arrive back in Gwinner on Sunday, May 1, at 7:15 p.m. and in LaMoure at 8.

The cost per person is $55 if paid by Feb. 18 or $70 if paid after that date.
