N.D. 4-H Foundation Awards Scholarships

Ten students have been awarded North Dakota 4-H Foundation scholarships for 2009-10.

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation has awarded 10 scholarships for the 2009-10 academic year.

The scholarship recipients, the county in which they live, the amount and name of the scholarship, and the college or university they plan to attend are:

  • Jocelyn Baumann, Cass, $500 Steve and Mary Tuhy Scholarship, North Dakota State University
  • Casey Brown, Divide, $250 Farm and Ranch Guide Scholarship, Bismarck State College
  • Darcie Dewald, Kidder, $500 John DeKrey Jr. and Hanna DeKrey Scholarship, Minot State University
  • Rachel Deyle, Cass, $350 Rosevold Memorial Scholarship, NDSU
  • Stephanie Hatten, Ramsey, $350 Erwin Klusmann and John Norgaard Scholarship, University of North Dakota
  • Erin Krebs, Stark/Billings, $100 William Bloom Scholarship, NDSU
  • Emily Krieger, Traill, $300 Kelci Jo Willson Scholarship, NDSU
  • Jared Nelson, Walsh, $1,000 John D. Paulson Scholarship, NDSU
  • Megan Ternquist, Walsh, $1,000 John D. Paulson Scholarship, Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn.
  • Kate Whelan, Pembina, $300 Eleanor Schulz Memorial Scholarship, NDSU

The 4-H Foundation supports local 4-H clubs and helps offer youth more than 100 program opportunities.
