NDSU Extension’s new beef cattle specialist brings international experience and training to the position.

He will focus his research on backgrounding and feedlot nutrition and management strategies, and management of beef cows under dry lot conditions.

As an Extension livestock specialist, she will provide resources and educational programming on beef production.

She leads 4-H youth leadership and civic engagement educational programming.

The center’s new director brings research and Extension Service experience to her position.

Scott is a 4-H youth development specialist and assistant professor.

She serves as the western area community health and nutrition specialist.

Meehan is the Extension livestock environmental stewardship specialist.

Ryan Buetow will work out of the Dickinson Research Extension Center.

Otteson has worked at the farm since 1992.
