Extension Master Gardener Program

The North Dakota Extension Master Gardener Program is not an ordinary education program. An ordinary class would teach you the basics of horticulture. The Master Gardener Program goes beyond ordinary and invests in creating leaders to serve the needs of their communities. Master Gardeners become ambassadors to assist North Dakota Extension Service in providing scientifically accurate and environmentally sustainable horticultural advice. Are you ready to be extraordinary?

Over 3800 Pounds of Fresh Produce!

Veggies for the Pantry Ends Successfully

Veggies logo

Veggies for the Pantry was an initiative putting Extension Master Gardeners in place in Dilworth, Moorhead, Fargo, and West Fargo to collect excess fruit and vegetable production from area home gardens. Produce was then delivered to Emergency Food Pantry and Churches United. The 2017 season has ended but we would like to thank the team of Master Gardeners for their hard work and especially thank area home gardeners for their generosity! We know a few more donations will be coming in, but we've already beat last year's amazing totals! WOW!
