Cheyenne, Wyoming July 12 and 13

The 2011 Great Plains Tree Pest Council Meeting was hosted by GPTPC Chair Les Koch at the Cheyenne Community House in Lions Park, Cheyenne, WY. The meeting included presentations from guest speakers with an emphasis on tree selection and hardiness, researchers in forest health fields and a field trip to the High Plains Arboretum. The meeting was memorable for a number of reasons, especially the large hail storm that swept through the city on the first evening.
