Love & Logic: Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts
Parents and helping professionals will gain powerful insights into how trauma affects the brain, why intense and upsetting behaviors represent attempts to self-protect and survive, the science behind healthy attachment relationships and why such bonds form the foundation for emotional and neurological healing. Parents and caregivers will hear how to establish healthy boundaries, avoid destructive power struggles, overcome defiance and guide children toward success.
