Student inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society

Brooke Benz, a Ph.D. graduate student in the Department of Plant Pathology, has been inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Brooke’s research focuses on Microbial ecology and microbiome research of barley in response to Fusarium head blight. Her major advisors are Drs. Thomas Baldwin and Barney Geddes. Brooke’s career goal is to move to Europe for at least two years, gather in-depth practical experiences as a post doc and further contribute her vast experience gained as researcher to the industry.
