Manan President of NDSU GSC

Fazal Manan is a Ph.D. graduate student in the Department of Plant Pathology. He was recently elected the president of NDSU Graduate Student Council (GSC) 2023. His research is focused on mapping resistance for bacterial leaf streak disease of wheat and exploring the host pathogen interaction using transcriptomics approaches. His major advisor is Dr. Zhaohui Liu. In future, he aims to pursue a career in academia or join industry while exploring and uncovering new knowledge about plant diseases, their causes, mechanisms, and management strategies.
