Kaur wins second prize in NDSU's 2023 Student Research Day Oral Competition

Harkamal Kaur is an M.S. student in the Department of Plant Pathology. She  took part in the 2023 NDSU Student Research Day and gave an oral presentation about her MS research titled “Reproduction of Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) in dry bean”. She won the second prize in the oral presentation competition. Dr. Guiping Yan is her major advisor. Harkamal aims to continue studying SCN infection in dry bean which will help breeders to develop improved cultivars and help growers manage SCN in their field.
