Williams County Homemakers Scholarship

This $200.00 scholarship is designed for a student from Williams County, whose mother or grandmother is currently a Williams County Homemaker Club Member. Preference will be given to student attending a North Dakota College or University. 2. To Be Eligible A Student Should: a. Have a mother or grandmother who is currently a Williams County Homemaker club member. b. Have had an acceptable high school scholastic record. c. Have participated in activities such as 4-H, FCCLA, FFA, Scouts, High School, Church and Community Programs. d. Should the student receive other scholarships, he/she still may receive the Williams County scholarship. e. A student must be at least a senior in high school before applying for a scholarship. 3. Application forms may be secured from the Williams County Extension office. 4. The completed application form, filled out in ink or typed, transcripts of grades and standardized test scores, and reference letters must be in the County Extension office by APRIL 1. 5. The County scholarship chairman and selected committee will make the final decision on the recipient of this scholarship application. 6. If no applications are received the money will be held over until the next year. 7. Applicant must check with person who will provide references to see that they have returned their written recommendations to the Extension office by APRIL 1. 8. The applications must be complete or they will be disqualified. 9. Application for scholarships submitted after the APRIL 1 DEADLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
