New Member Checklist

New Member startup checklist:

1-Create your 4-H Online account. https://www.4honline.com/

2-Decide what club you want to join and contact the leaders.

3-Update projects on 4-H Online (April 30 deadline)

4-Order necessary project books from Extension Office.

5-Get 4-H patches and/or cloverbud pins from Extension Office.

6-Aquire a copy of the Wells County 4-H Bylaws from County Extension Office website. http://www.ag.ndsu.edu/wellscountyextension/4-h-youth-development-1

7-Look over yearly deadlines posted on the County Extension Office website.

8-Make sure each 4-H member meets the meeting/activity point requirements for fair eligibility (See bylaws).

9-Check your emails!  That is how the Extension Office communicates with you.

10- Ask questions!! We are here to help!

 

Club leader checklist for new members:

1-Collect contact information from new family and add them to emails lists/phone contact lists/etc.

2-Explain the adding projects process and purpose.  Ask Extension Office for assistance.

3-Explain the fair process (schedule, forms, committees, tasks, etc.).
