ND Master Gardener Program 2015
The NDSU Extension Service Master Gardener Program is not an ordinary education program. An ordinary class would teach you the basics of horticulture. The Master Gardener program goes beyond ordinary and invests in creating leaders to serve the needs of their communities. Master Gardeners become ambassadors to assist the Extension Service in providing accurate and environmentally sustainable horticultural advice. Are you ready to be extraordinary?
New Online Master Gardener Training!
For many of you, weekday morning classes conflict with your work schedules. Long distances from classroom training sites are a problem for others. We heard your voices loud and clear! We are now offering online Master Gardener training. You can watch online lectures when it is convenient for you from the comfort of your own home. All assignments and quizzes will be available online. If you have questions, you can post them on online bulletin boards and receive quick responses. The online training program will run from October through December. An active email account, internet access, and good computer skills are a requirement for this class. Sorry, but dial up internet access will not work.
Many of you like to learn in a classroom setting. Classroom training will be conducted in convenient locations around the state through the Interactive Video Network (IVN). As the quizzes are online, an active email account, internet access, and good computer skills are required for this class.
