Step-by-Step Instructions on how to enroll or re-enroll.
Who Enrolls
North Dakota 4-H (ND4-H) requires online enrollment for every youth member. Adults who wish to apply for screening as a ND4-H volunteer are encouraged to enroll as well, but are not required. Youth and adult members may enroll at any time during the calendar year.
The 4-H enrollment year is September 1 to August 31. All youth members must be at least 5 years old on September 1st of the current 4-H enrollment year to enroll.
When enrolling, you can choose a club you would like to join. If you are not sure which club would best suit your family, choose "I want to join 4-H!" as a club and someone from our office will contact you.
Program Costs
Annual membership dues are $10 per youth. Ward County 4-H Clubs may elect to collect club dues; these are typically $5-$15 per youth. Club and membership dues help cover the cost of hosting activities and events throughout the year.
We want 4-H to be accessible to every youth. If there is a concern about financial constraints for joining the program, Ward County 4-H offers an Enrollment Scholarship. Please click Ward County 4-H Enrollment Scholarship Application 2020-2021 to fill out the form. All applications are kept confidential and the information provided will be used only to determine award eligibility.
