Join us Saturday August 5th, 2017 for our annual 4-H Achievement Days! This event is also known as the County Fair. Achievement Days is for our 4-H members who are enrolled in Static/Livestock Exhibits through Steele County. Our members get to show us what they've spent the past 4-H year working on and learning about. This is our biggest day of the year and everybody is always more than excited to attend. Even though this day is for members, the community is more than welcome to come enjoy the presentations and the auction sale that we have following the static exhibits that day! More information to come in the following weeks...

Steele/Traill 4-H Archery Club

The Steele/Traill 4-H Archers swept the floor clean, as our junior barebow team won their fifth straight district tournament in Edgeley on Saturday, April 8th! We took home the State Indoor Championship Title also! What a great way to end our very first season! Way to go team! Until next year!

The Extension office loves to see all of the wonderful photos that you take around the county! We will be starting a weekly session on our Facebook page of "Weed of the Week". We'd love to see, and use, the photos of weeds that you can now send in to our office to be featured. Our goal is to make the public more aware of those pesky weeds in the area and to let everybody know what they can do to rid their property of them! Send your photos to the e-mails for Angie Johnson or Mariah Anhorn below.

While we enjoy the benefits of the Bee colonies in our areas, we don't put into consideration just how much those little buggers provide for us. By clicking on this photo, you can get your Morning Coffee Read in by enjoying the research paper provided to you by Franclyn Heinecke, written in April of 2014.
