What’s a Parent to Do?

What’s a Parent to Do? 9/28/18

Finding reliable parenting information and advice can be overwhelming! How do you know what you can trust — especially when you are busy and there’s just so little time?

To meet the need, educators and researchers from land-grant universities all across our nation formed an educational partnership to create “Just in Time Parenting.”

Just in Time Parenting is both a free parenting e-newsletter and a website. Both can be found at https://jitp.info

The e-newsletter provides practical information and guidance that is specific to your child’s age and needs. It is delivered by email.

The “Just in Time Parenting” website offers the option to browse/search all newsletters by age, from prenatal, to newborn, and month-by-month through the first 5 years.

Just in Time Parenting includes research-based information, without any ads. For example:

Easy to use guides to your child’s development

  • Tips on raising a healthy, happy child
  • Tools for solving common parenting problems
  • Strategies for coping with the challenges of raising children
  • Links to podcasts and videos with additional reliable, research-based information

Consider Just in Time Parenting as your online in-service/training for your job as a parent.
