RLND Class V Graduation Gala

The graduation gala honoring Rural Leadership North Dakota (RLND) Class V participants on their completion of the 2011 -2013 RLND program was held Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Ramada Bismarck Hotel in Bismarck. The evening started with a live auction with Daryl Lies, Class V member, as the auctioneer. Gala attendees were generous as they bid on the five live auction items. Part of the funds from the live and silent auction were given to the RLND Alumni Association. Auction funds also supported the cost of a Class V perspective video and a RLND Program video.

RLND Orientation Seminar

Members of RLND Class VI (2013-15) gathered for their Orientation Seminar November 21-23, 2013 in Bismarck. The 20 participants started their RLND experience by meeting each other and meeting spouses/significant others of class VI participants over lunch.

Farmers, ranchers, business owners, an occupational therapist, clinic operations director, marketing and workforce developer, loan officer and pastor are among the members of the North Dakota State University Extension Service’s sixth Rural Leadership North Dakota class.

Ward County Leadership Workshop held in Minot

Twenty-one participants came together on April 3rd at the North Central Research Extension Center in Minot for the RLND Ward County Community Leadership Workshop on Working Together to Improve Quality of Life. The workshop was organized through the Ward County Extension Office Staff and the Rural Leadership North Dakota (RLND) Program.
