NEW THIS YEAR

In order to participate in the Richland County Achievement Days Livestock Show youth will be required to be YQCA certified. We are phasing in this requirement over the next two years, see below for details. This certification is also required for any youth planning to show livestock at the North Dakota State Fair. Youth must have their YQCA by July 3rd, any youth that have not completed the certification by Achievement Days will not be allowed to participate in the show, no exceptions.

  • 2019: Require YQCA for Int and Sr age groups *Jr are optional
  • 2020: Require YQCA for Jr, Int, and Sr age groups
    • **Cloverbuds are not required to be YQCA certified

Getting certified

  • Option 1 - Attend a YQCA training. Richland County Extension will host a YQCA training and record keeping workshop each year, date TBD. There may be other opportunities in neighboring counties, please contact the office for more info on that. Cost $3.00
  • Option 2 - Complete the online YQCA training (yqca.learngrow.io) Cost $12.00
