Land Judging Program

Land judging is a national 4-H and FFA program to build knowledge and respect for the land, its uses, and conservation. Youth will be trained on soil texturing, estimating slope, and determining the depth of surface and subsurface horizons. Participants will also learn to make management decisions such as fertility recommendations based on a soil test, tillage, and crop choice.
