4-H in Ransom County

County Programs

4-H members can choose from a variety of programs that Ransom County county offers.  Get involved in Communication Arts; Consumer Choices; Showcase (Project Expo, Clothing Review, Decorate Your Duds); Dog Obedience; Horse Classes; Livestock Judging; Hippology; Shooting Sports; 4-H Carnival & Dance; Ransom County Fair; Southeast Activity Day and the Ransom County 4-H Ambassador program.  Click on the County Programs title for more information on these programs.

 

4-H Clubs

Ransom County has seven organized 4-H clubs for new members to choose the right club for their family.  All clubs have been very active with membership ranging from 15 members to 36 members in each club.  Click on the 4-H Clubs title for a list of clubs and a description of what they do for activities; what times they meet during the month and club leader information.  Feel free to contact any of the clubs directly if you would like to join their club or contact the Ransom County Extension office at 701-683-6128.

 

Name and Emblem Use

The Name and Emblem Use policy is a tool for you to use when you are going to be using the 4-H name or emblem.  It is very important that the 4-H name and emblem are used correctly at all times.  Please view the policy for details.  To request the 4-H Clover graphic, please email ndsu.ransom.extension@ndsu.edu.

 

4-H Rules & Policies

The 4-H Rules & Policies are reviewed by the council at each Fall 4-H Council Meeting and are adopted at that meeting.  Any changes or additions to the Rules and Polices need to be made a t the Fall 4-H Council meeting in order for them to be effective for the current 4-H year.  If changes are made at any other time they will not take effect until the next 4-H year.
