Ransom County Scholarships/Grants

These scholarships/grants are for currently enrolled Ransom County members.

4-H Camp - 2018 camp year

At the fall 2017 4-H Council meeting, the council approved to award $1,000 in scholarships to be used for 4-H Camp in Washburn.  Scholarships are $50 per member, which must be a current Ransom County 4-H member, and are awarded to the first 20 members who submit a request to help pay for 4-H Camp in Washburn in 2018.  A Request Form is available by contacting the Ransom County Extension office, the Ransom County 4-H website or by clicking on the link below. The scholarship will be mailed to the family of the member after they have returned from camp.  This scholarship is on a first-come-first-served basis.

North Dakota Stockmen's Association
The NDSF will award three $500 Junior Scholarships to North Dakota college sophomores who, among other criteria, are enrolled in a beef-related major at an accredited North Dakota college or university.

The NDSF will also award three $500 Legacy Scholarships to North Dakota high-school seniors, college freshmen, college sophomores or college juniors who have an interest in the beef cattle industry. There are no requirements regarding college or university location or major.
