Ransom County Fair
The Ransom County Fair and Achievement Days are August 26-30. The public is encouraged to exhibit in Open Class which is Thursday, August 27. Visit the following links for Open Class information, 4-H Exhibit information and the Ransom County Fair website. See you there!
The 2015 Ransom County Fair Poultry Show has been canceled. Eggs can still be exhibited at the fair. More information . .
The Ransom County Extension office will be closed Monday, August 24 through Friday, August 28 during the fair. Office personnel can be reached at the fairgrounds on those days at 683-5075. Office hours will vary on Monday, August 31 while staff move equipment and supplies back to the office.
Schwan's CaresTM Fundraiser
The Ransom County 4-H Livestock Judging Team has received the honor of participating in the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest in Louisville, KY on November 15-19, 2015!
The team has put together a fundraiser through Schwan's Cares TM. The team will get a percentage of all sales.
Thank you for your support and we wish them good luck on their upcoming contest!
Soybean Plot Tour
Everyone is invited to attend the 2015 Soybean Plot Tour on Tuesday, September 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The tour will be held at the plot located 7 miles west of Lisbon at the junction of Hwy 27 and 123rd Ave SE.
