Spring Fever Garden Forums

The Family Table

The program includes challenges (and prizes!), Facebook messages, and e-newsletter and website. Visit www.ag.ndsu.edu/familytable to sign up.

Why promote family mealtimes? Eating together as a family at least three times per week is linked with a more nutritious diet, healthy weight, better school performance, less risky behavior (alcohol, drug use) among teens, better family communication and many other benefits. Please join us and challenge your family in 2017 to spend more time eating together.

Field to Fork

Classes to begin on February 22  from 2 -3 p.m. at the Ransom County Courthouse Community Room.  There are different topics each week on Wednesdays through April 26.

Preregistration is required by calling 683-6128.  See the full schedule...

Diabetes Prevention Program

Several Ransom County residents have already participated in this series with great success!
A third series of this program is set to begin on February 14 at the Ransom County Courthouse Community Room.  The sessions are held from noon to 1 p.m. weekly for 16 weeks.  More information is available on the Food, Nutrition & Health page.  Feel free to contact the Ransom County Extension office to visit about the program and to register.

Nourishing Boomers & Beyond

As we age, we may not be as active as we used to be.  Maybe we have put on a few extra pounds, or we've developed health issues such as high blood pressure or diabetes.  For more information on this series of helpful classes. . .
