Youth are invited to attend any or all of the day camps appropriate for age during the month of July and August!
Cloverbud Camp - July 8 (ages 6-8)
Sewing Day Camp - July 15 (ages 12 & older)
Nature Day Camp - July 22 (ages 8-12)
Decorate Your Duds Day Camp - August 4 (ages 10 & older)
The 2015 Ransom County Fair Poultry Show has been canceled. Eggs can still be exhibited at the fair. More information . . .
Project Safe Send
The 2015 dates and collection sites for Project Safe Send have been set. The program accepts any pesticides (i.e. herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides, and fungicides) that are old, unusable or banned. The program is open to farmers, rancher, pesticide dealers and applicators, government agencies, homeowners and the general public. The collected pesticides are carefully packed and shipped out of state for incineration.
Collection site time:
9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the ND Department of Transportation
Tuesday, July 14 - Ellendale, 8885 97 St S
Friday, July 31 - Wyndmere, 7775 Hwy 18

Nourishing Boomers and Beyond
Monthly sessions are available for adults age 50 and older looking for information and strategies to eat more nutritiously and be more physically active so they can reduce their risk of developing chronic disease. Sessions are beneficial to adults at any age.
There is no charge for the sessions. All sessions are held in the Community Room of the Ransom County Courthouse and include informational material, recipes to take home and healthful food samples.
Digestive System - July 14 - Noon
The Ransom County Crop & Livestock Association supports the North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network (NDAWN) System located at the Lisbon Airport. NDAWN Website is updated every 10 minutes.
