How to enter:

Prize Giveaway

  1. Make the current month’s featured recipe.
  2. Take a picture of your recipe and upload to the comments section of the featured post on Facebook or Twitter  or send a direct message on Instagram or by by the end of the month.
    • By posting your content on the comments section or sending us a direct message, you are giving permission to share it with our followers.
  3. Enjoy your recipe and look for other Social Eats recipes and ideas!
  4. Winners will be notified through social media and able to pick up their prize at the NDSU Extension office nearest them.


What else do you need to know:

  • One winner will be selected each prize cycle from all entries.
  • No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at NDSU Extension’s discretion.
  • You may enter only once per month. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of NDSU Extension.
  • The prize will be available for pick up at the winner’s nearest NDSU Extension Office within 90 days of winner selection.
  • NDSU Extension shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.
  • This campaign is void where prohibited by law.
  • The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  • By entering this content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that NDSU Extension, anyone acting on behalf of NDSU Extension, and NDSU Extension’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes. without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
  • By entering this content, you represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights.
