High Value Crops Project

The North Dakota Agricultural Statistics report has shown that since 1992 an increase in the number of farms has occurred only with small farms where the main family income most likely comes from another profession.

This group almost outnumbers all other growers and has needs unlike those of larger farms. These growers want production information on specialty and high-value crops which necessitate less land due to the management requirements associated with each particular crop.

This project continues to focus on the production needs for these high-value crops.
