Potato Breeding Website

The objective of the interdisciplinary potato improvement team is to develop new potato cultivars that are well adapted to North Dakota, the Northern Great Plains, and beyond. Our focus is across market types, with an emphasis on attractive appearance, improved yield, resistance to important diseases, insect pests, and environmental stresses, and with reduced need for inputs such as crop protectants and fertilizer.
