Dr. Richard Horsley, Barley Breeder, Professor, and Interim Department Chair, has been appointed Department Head of Plant Sciences. Dr. Ken Grafton, Interim VP of Agriculture and University Extension, Director of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station, and Dean of the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources made the announcement and said of Horsley, "[he] brings a number of very positive skills and tremendous experience to the position....he will provide excellent leadership to ensure the department continues to move forward."
