John Stenger Receives Graduate School Fellowship
NDSU Plant Sciences Ph.D. candidate John Stenger is one of six students selected to receive a Graduate School Dissertation Fellowship for the 2014-15 academic year. The fellowship, awarded by the NDSU Graduate School, represents a significant accomplishment for the doctoral student. The award includes a stipend along with additional funding for academic travel and supplies. Stenger’s research involves studying many aspects of grape improvement, one focus being photostability of acclimation in grapes. His adviser is Dr. Harlene Hatterman-Valenti, Plant Sciences assistant department head and professor in high value crop production.
