News Submissions Policies and Procedures

Submission policies for Plant Sciences website and social media

Process and Guidelines

Stories for the Plant Sciences website and social media are published regularly in order to inform faculty, staff, students, alumni and the greater NDSU community about activities, awards and other news in the department. The purpose of all stories is to present accurate and timely information through a variety of electronic means including the department website and various social media outlets. Stories may be submitted by department personnel and students. Stories will be edited for length, appropriateness and style. If you would like help covering or writing a story or event, please contact Kamie Beeson () or Karen Hertsgaard (

Publication Schedule

Stories will be published at least once a week and more often depending on which media outlets are utilized.
