Employees Recognized for Years of Service

Nine Department of Plant Sciences employees and a retiree were recognized recently by North Dakota State University for their years of service.
Recognized for 30 years of service were Barbara Laschkewitsch, research specialist in Extension horticulture, and John Barr, chemist in barley quality. Recognized for 20 years of service were Kelly McMonagle, food technologist in wheat quality, and Kreg Kercher, agricultural research technician in oilseed breeding.
Adam Walz, research specialist in hard spring wheat breeding, and DeLane Olsen, research specialist in wheat quality, were recognized for 10 years of service. Gwendolyn Thomas, lab technician in wheat quality, Yu Liu, lab technician in durum and pasta quality, and Toni Muffenbier, accounting specialist for North Dakota Foundation Seedstocks, were recognized for five years of service.
Janet Davidson-Harrington was recognized for her retirement in 2019. She was a research specialist in weed science with 27 years of service at NDSU.
A staff recognition social that was planned for April was canceled due to the university response to COVID-19.
