Department Employees Recognized for Years of Service

Twelve Department of Plant Sciences employees achieved milestones for years of service at North Dakota State University this spring.

Twelve Department of Plant Sciences employees achieved milestones for years of service at North Dakota State University this spring.

Staff honored for five years of service are Cora Crane, Gregory Morgenson, Jason Axtman and Jerry Gee. Kevin Rue and Chad Deplazes were honored for 10 years of service, Gonzalo Rojas-Cifuentes for 15 years of service and Paula Petersen for 20 years of service. Katheryn Christianson was honored for 35 years of service. A Staff Recognition Dessert Social was held on Thursday, April 12 to honor NDSU staff who achieved years of service milestones.

Three employees also will be honored for 25 years of service at the Quarter Century Club dinner on May 3. They are Janet Davidson-Harrington, who is a research specialist for the weed science program; Justin Hegstad, who is a research specialist in statistical genomics; and Frank Manthey, who is a professor and Cereal Science graduate program coordinator and leads the durum and pasta quality program. Twenty NDSU employees will be honored at the dinner.
