Department Employees Recognized for Years of Service

Seventeen Department of Plant Sciences employees achieved milestones for years of service at North Dakota State University this spring.

Seventeen Department of Plant Sciences employees achieved milestones for years of service at North Dakota State University this spring. Dr. Chiwon Lee and James Gillespie both joined the Quarter Century Club for 25 years of service.  Lee leads the Vegetable Culture and Breeding project and Gillespie is a chemist for the Barley and Malt Quality project.

Employees honored for five years of service were Eric Brandvik, Andrew Ross, Shannon Ueker, Devin Wirth, James Perleberg and Lorin Miller. Those honored for 10 years of service were Matthew Abdallah and Karen Hertsgaard. Honored for 15 years of service were David Hanson, Martin Hochhalter, Lisa Johnson and Victoria Magnusson. Rachel MacArthur and Sandra Mark were honored for 20 years of service and Eileen Buringrud was honored for 40 years of service.

The Quarter Century Club held a dinner on May 4 to recognize new members, and an Employee Recognition Social was held on Thursday, April 20.
