Symposium 2013

2012 Symposium LogoWe are honored to host the 29th Annual Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium on March 22 and 23, 2013.

The Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium was initiated in an effort to bring graduate students from different universities together and have them present their research in an informal atmosphere. This symposium provides the opportunity for graduate students to exchange ideas and introduces them to research work of fellow graduate students. It also provides an opportunity for graduate students to develop and improve their public speaking skills and to gain experience in the development and use of various visual aids, as a means of making a polished presentation. The location of the symposium rotates among the Universities of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and North Dakota State. Graduate students in the general area of Plant Science from other universities are also invited to attend and participate in the symposium.
