2017-18 Classes

 

A variety of parent education classes including Active Parenting of Teens, Active Parenting - First Five Years, Baby Signs - Infant Sign Language, Parenting the Love & Logic Way, Love & Logic Early Childhood and Nurtured Heart Approach, will be held in Region 6 in the 2017-18 program year.  

Newsletter, class flyers and online registration are located on the left-hand navigation or by calling 845-8528.  Classes, which are provided through funding from the ND Department of Human Services, Children & Family Services Division, are offered at no charge and may be eligible for Growing Futures childcare provider credit.   

In addition to face-to-face classes, we have resources for checkout and a list of recommended online classes.  Stop by our office at Barnes County Courthouse, 230 4th St. NW, #204, call 845-8528 or email amy.j.tichy@ndsu.edu anytime.  We look forward to connecting!

In every career or job, we receive training and update our skills. Yet as parents, we often overlook parenting education opportunities.

NDSU Extension Service/Region 6 Parent Resource Center offers classes and resources to help parents add “tools” to their parenting toolbox to help with their most important job – parenting.
