Impact Statement

Impact Reports and QPR Instructions

  • Each PRC is required to do one, using the template provided by Tracy Hansen
       - Tracy H. will provide the numbers for the Impact section in the template
  • The report is based on the fiscal year---July 1 to June 30, and can be completed and shared at our Fall gathering. Others in Extension have a Jan. 15 due date but it was decided that following the fiscal year is better than following the calendar year for PRC work.
  • Tracy H. will write the overall statewide Impact Report, with information from Kay’s data and provide this to Tracy Miller at DHS. Each region will submit additional/stories for the feedback section

PRC Responsibilities:

  1. Enter ‘bubble sheet’ data and Kay will produce everything needed by Tracy for DHS reports.
  2. Produce Impact Report by September for each fiscal year

QPR Reporting - For EXTENSION employees only

This information is required by the federal government if you are an Extension employee. It also is used to verify work done for our state legislators.

PRC Responsibilities:

Track numbers for QPR reports by listed categories and enter by quarter into QPR system if you are an Extension employee---others are not required. At one time we agreed you only had to do it once since you are considered ‘area’ staff, but doing it by quarter is better for sorting out future reporting requests.

  1. Quarterly - only enter NON-Program Statistic form (PSF) data (walk-in, phone call, classes that you would not have had a PSF or entered into Survey Monkey)
  2. Yearly - Kay will provide the PSF class numbers which are tracked in Survey Monkey

Set up a personal tracking system to track numbers/data for events that you don’t use PSF forms --- example-track adults and youth face to face (walk-in, classes) for those classes that are not direct parent ed but related to parenting. Deb and Stacy do a ‘changing bodies’ class for students, many teach other professionals like social services, child care providers and teachers. When you teach these classes you do not ask these participants to complete bubble sheets so therefore you need to track them and add them to your QPR numbers each quarter.
