The event will be held July 20.

Canola and soybean production are among the topics for the field day July 20 at North Dakota State University’s Langdon Research Extension Center.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts. Field tours will begin at 8:30.

  • Managing saline soil - Naeem Kalwar, Extension soil health specialist at the center
  • Faba beans - representative from Legume Logic, Crosby
  • Langdon Research Extension Center canola research projects - Bryan Hanson, center agronomist
  • Soybean production update - Lesley Lubenow, Extension agronomy specialist at the center
  • Center disease research in canola and other crops - Venkat Chapara, center plant pathologist
  • NDSU canola breeding program - Mukhlesur Rahman, NDSU canola breeder
