Possible changes for next year’s fair:  Leaders noticed that kids at Achievement Days had to wait to have projects judges due to judges taking a lunch break.  Estvold suggested that breaks be divided.  Discussion tabled until closer to Achievement Days next year.

Estvold mentioned that all members should help with cleanup following Achievement Days, Katelyn noted that kids could have chipped in more.  Staff will come up with a more detailed list next year.

Panels are needed for our Livestock show next year, Hain asked for possible fundraising and Haakenson mention possibly borrowing panels.

New Business

Berdal and Hain are stressing deadlines this coming 4H year and 4H members need to be reading their mail.

Hain showed an example of the Thank You’s the Extension office will be mailing out with the 4H members pictures on them.

Hain addressed that there was some confusion on pictures and articles regarding Achievement Days in the papers.  Kate is asking that clubs wait to publish their articles until after the Extension Office has a chance to publish theirs.

Showmanship policy was brought up and the office will look for old minutes.

Awards Day will be October 7th in the Nelson County Community Room at 2p.m.  The evening will also be used to assist new and old members with enrollments and going over new record books.  New members are welcome!

Calendar of events and deadlines- Hain discussed dates for the 2018-2019 year.  A new Nelson County 4H website will be up and running shortly.

A sample of the new banner was showed, suggestions were made to make it smaller.

Next meeting will be set at Awards Day.

Galde move to adjourn. Estvold seconded. Meeting adjourned.
