COMMUNITY OUTREACH TOOLKIT:

Do you have a community event coming up that supports the mission of NDNC? Want to get involved, but don’t have the resources? We can help! NDNC is now offering mini-grants up to $200 to help support members get involved in their community. To receive funding, members must fill out a short form describing the event and how the event promotes the mission of NDNC. In addition to funding, successful applicants will also have access to the North Dakota Nutrition Council Community Outreach kit, which includes a tablecloth, shirts, and other promotional materials.
Where/How to Use the Community Outreach Toolkit: Set up a booth at a local conference such as the Breastfeeding Conference, Diabetes Conference, NDAND, Longterm Healthcare Conference or the RoughRider Conference. The funding can be used in conjunction with another health entity such as Cancer or American Heart Association. One benefit, may be using the $200 for the cost of the booth display which may lead to your registration for the conference being waived!
