NDNC Board Highlights

February 3, 2017 Board Meeting

• Nominations for candidates to run for Vice President and Secretary are being accepted; please consider running for the NDNC Board. 

• Four thousand dollars will be awarded to minigrant winners for the upcoming year. A number of excellent minigrant applications have been submitted; a committee will review applications and winners will be announced at the annual conference.

• Student scholarship applications have been received and two scholarships will be awarded. Winners will be announced at the annual conference.

• The board plans to reassess the purpose and intent of the Award of Excellence in an effort to make the award more enticing for members to apply for in the future.   

• Members are reminded to share information about upcoming webinars and continuing education opportunities on our listserv.

• The 2017 annual conference will be held at the West Fargo, Double Tree on April 5. The conference will feature a lineup of exciting speakers as well as a social event the night before. Also, mini-grant winners from last year will be sharing information on their grant projects.  

• Members are encouraged to order their NDNC T-shirts and can pick them up at the spring conference.
