Where do you work?
 - University of North Dakota

What do you do on typical day of work?
 - Communicate with students, faculty, and our staff members.
 - Prepare to teach, teach, or grade assignments.
 - Read and/or write research materials.
 - Develop course content.

What are the most and least rewarding parts of your job?
 - Most: Working with students to develop new knowledge or skills and understanding nutrition science through research.
 - Least: Responding to emails.

What education requirements, college degrees, licenses are needed for your career?
 - PhD, RDN, LRD

What do you wish you knew (but didn’t) when you first contemplated this career?
 - I wish I had known all the activities beyond teaching and research that are expected of faculty members that take significant time and energy to successfully complete.

What are the working conditions like (Stress, Pace, Physical Comfort, Travel, Environment, Relocation, Hours)?
 - Flexible, but long hours, Fast pace, Professional travel and development opportunities

Why are you an NDNC member?
 - I learn from my peers and enjoy the opportunity to network through NDNC to benefit from their experience and knowledge.
