Riparian Ecosystems

Western ND StreamA riparian complex is the ecosystem associated with a stream and consists of multiple surfaces, each of which supports a unique plant community. A riparian complex ecological site is a unit of land with a unique set of biotic and abiotic factors that is capable of producing a distinct riparian complex and plant communities.
