2018 Diabetes Prevention Class

North Dakota State University Extension Service, Public Health and Sanford Health have teamed up to offer the National Diabetes Prevention Program. The lifestyle change program includes education and support for people with pre-diabetes and those at a high risk for pre-diabetes, and is designed to help people lose weight, be more active, and to prevent the onset of type II diabetes.

Participants meet for a year - weekly for 16 weeks, and monthly for another six months to maintain healthy lifestyle changes. Together participants celebrate their successes and find ways to overcome obstacles.

Location:  Capitol Cafe Meeting Room, ND State Capitol, Bismarck, ND
