We have become aware of a county calling 4-H members from other counties to join judging teams.  While we don’t necessarily agree with the practices taking place, we hope that you would call our office to make us aware of your consideration to join another counties judging teams whether it be dairy, livestock, shooting sports, consumer choices, range judging, etc.  It is difficult to find out through the many channels of information and be surprised when it is one of our youth.  We would be supportive, we just want to be aware so we can assist you if need be.

Congratulations to the Morton County 4-H Senior Archery team!  They are headed to Nationals in 2017 as they placed 1st at the recent state 4-H archery match.  Congratulations goes out to Tanner Bitz, Kinley Hetletved, Braeden Howes and Blake Hensley.  Also congratulations to Jacob  Ellingson who placed as the top shooter in the state!

We at the office would like to wish our 2016 graduates luck as they graduate from high school this spring.  What a wonderful occasion and we are happy that we had the opportunity to get to work with all of you!  We will miss all of you next year.  Here’s to the places you’ll go! Congratulations and best wishes from the NDSU Extension Service Staff of Morton County.

Have a great weekend, and we will visit again next week!
